Writing
Other than my debut children’s story, “More Than Words,” I primarily write and publish short humor pieces. I have also written several self-published short stories, poems, and non-fiction pieces, which can be found on my Medium page here. All of these influence my singing, songwriting, voiceover work, and vice versa. Some of my humor essays can be found on The Belladonna, Little Old Lady, Robot Butt, and Greener Pastures.
More links below, and yes, “Ann King” is my temporary pseudonym so my desk job doesn’t find me.
Princess Maddy and her companion, Kittles, take a stroll through the forest when they suddenly find a ring beneath the leaves! On her journey to return the ring to its rightful owner, Princess Maddy encounters a giant glass castle; meets a royal dog named Ruberious; and falls instantly in love with a beautiful saxophone-playing princess named Princess Nikki. By the end, Princess Maddy returns the ring to Princess Nikki and the two rejoice outside the castle alongside Ruberious and Kittles.
